Lucky Ladies Stormy

Stormy came from my friend's herd, Lucky Ladies. All of her stock has come from me and she uses my bucks so it is truly a "sister herd." I've owned many of the animals on her pedigree, including her maternal granddam - a massive, wildly productive (I am talking 2 gallons a day) ADGA NOA doe named Penelope.
Stormy was from a set of triplets, born on a very stormy day in the spring.
At her own first freshening, Stormy required some assistance because she had a breech DOA kid. Turns out, Stormy decided to have quads her first freshening! But two were unfortunately DOA. She raised her remaining two kids fat and healthy. When she needed dried off late that fall and her kids weaned, she and her sister Raindrop came here. I milked both of them and I was impressed with their production as first fresheners that had only been dam raising!
Incredibly easy to milk and lovely udders. Good attachments, A+ on milk down, orifice, texture, and teat size and shape. Stormy only took a few times of milking before she stood nicely, too, a real willingness to be a milk goat.
Fast forward to 2025. My friend needed to do some drastic downsizing and no one had scooped Stormy up, which kind of blows my mind. I said she was absolutely not going to the sale barn! I was very happy to bring her home.
It will be exciting to see her second freshening and eventually get her on milk test - I have no doubt she'll knock it out of the park!
She settled in quickly and is a very friendly girl.
