Calypso was a single doeling out of GoGo's LoSt Pixie Dust and Jupiter. When a fantastic home came along, I decided to rehome Pixie so I kept Calypso. She's turned into one of my favorite young does.
She freshened for the first time on Star Wars day, delivering buck/doe twins. Calypso has been a wonderful mother, very attentive and has done a great job raising her kids chunky. Plus, she's so friendly without being pushy about it or without being a stinker at the gate or at feeding time.
Calypso has all the strengths of her dam's udder with a bit bigger teats. Wonderful shape, size and attachments, as well as a strong medial. Good orifice. Overall incredibly happy with this first freshening udder.
he only thing I will fault her on was her initial reaction to being milked - which was a resounding "no thank you." We worked through that and she's been very good since.
I am impressed with her lactation, as I've been doing them no favors in 2025 - the kids have been doing all the work!
