Hannah, affectionately known as Noodle, has personality in spades. Sometimes too smart for her own good, she is a door-opening, tea-drinking, gate-unlatching creature. She is heterozygous polled. Her udder is butter-soft and capacious but I would like to see a bit larger teats more centered. She is a willing milker with creamy milk.

Rhea and Noodle both came from the late Lujax herd as juniors, but I was unable to find out anything about Rhea. I do know she is a sweetheart who loves attention. She was a productive first-freshener until an ordeal with a plant toxicity set her back. She has fully recovered, and her second lactation has not disappointed! Incredibly easy to milk. Love her teat size. Steady 2lb on once a day, short fill milking early in her lactation, and she has a long lactation curve. I am sure she would be an impressive milker under a more rigorous milking program.

Storm was one of the first goats here in the holler. She's grown up into a laid-back, easy-keeping work horse of a doe. She is an excellent dam and has kidded with 7 kids by age 4. Storm is my go-to milker. Her udder is well-attached in the rear but lacks foreudder and teat definition. Despite the physical short-comings in her mammary, she is incredibly easy to milk with especially large orifices. Her udder is fairly soft and despite her teats being large, her kids have had no trouble nursing. In 2019, she peaked at over 4lbs on just once a day milking in the heat and humidity of summer. In 2021, I milked her on no fill nursing triplets at 3 1/2 months fresh, and she easily milked 3lb. I SO need to get this doe on a proper 24 hour milk test!
